"I make it a point not to pry in the life of others, Nic. You know that. "
He rubbed the corner of his eye while releasing a slight smile. "You were always the diplomat, Joanna."
" And you were always the charmer, Nic." she said, smiling. "Seriously, I won't judge you.Out there in the field we are being shot at, and what doctors have to do to make it through, that is just part of the territory. Sometimes hearts end up being the casualties"
